MSC Cruises invites you to be a part of the welcoming celebration of the MSC Orchestra to its family of ships by logging onto www.msccruises.com at 1 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) Monday, May 14. The christening of its new flagship will be broadcast LIVE on its website via streaming video from Civitavecchia, Italy.

Sophia Loren, beloved Italian icon, will be on hand to officially christen MSC's newest ship. This is Ms. Loren's fourth "godchild" in the MSC Cruises fleet. Maestro Ennio Morricone will also put on a special concert.

MSC Orchestra, like sister-ship MSC Musica, is 92,400 tons, 964 feet long, with 4 restaurants (including a specialty Chinese restaurant and Italian upscale restaurant), 11 bars, a casino, a 12,400 square-foot-spacious spa and fitness area, 1,240-seat theater and capable of carrying 2,550 guests.

MSC Orchestra begins sailing Mediterranean itineraries roundtrip from Venice June 2.
